THEATRE DESIGN / PRODUCTION WORK

I have worked in theatre over many years having qualified with a Post Graduate Diploma in Theatre Design (pass with distinction) from Nottingham Polytechnic (Trent) in 1991.

Seleted recent work has included prop making / supervising for York Theatre Royal’s “Sovereign”, scenic painting for Oxford Playhouse panto’s (2018-22), costume props for Leeds Playhouse’s production of ‘Wizard of Oz’ (2019), making a 13 metre high fabric beanstalk for York Theatre Royal's production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ (2017) and a number of props for York Shakespeare's Rose Theatre (2018).

I am available for design work (set and costume) and sometimes prop making / costume making and scenic painting work.
